The BOD of the Beckett\u2019s Ridge HOA would like to invite all BR homeowners to participate in our first (and hopefully annual) Socktober sock drive. Since the first Socktober in Arkansas in 2011, the Socktober campaign has spread worldwide gathering donations for homeless shelters and other organizations that provide for those less fortunate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BOD has communicated with folks at Orange Congregation in Mission (OCIM on Millstone) who are very excited to work with us. Please note their specific donation details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.  All socks must be NEW<\/strong> and ideally have the tags that indicate size and material so they can distribute them appropriately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Greatest needs are socks for Adult Women, Children, and Infants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.\u00a0 Socks can be (a) dropped off at the\u00a0Ferris home – 2301 Woodbury Dr<\/strong>. in the Socktober Bin on the front porch OR (b) you can place an\u00a0Amazon order<\/em>\u00a0addressed to\u00a0“Ferris family – SOCKTOBER” (same address). <\/strong>Thank you, Ferris family. At the end of the month, we will deliver them all together to\u00a0OCIM!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Just think \u2013 if every home in Beckett\u2019s Ridge donates just one pair of socks, we will help over 200 people<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
