Thank you for taking the time needed to submit an ARC request before making exterior changes. Together, we can keep updates consistent with our neighborhood\u2019s appearance standards, protect curb appeal, and keep Beckett\u2019s Ridge beautiful for residents today and appealing to future buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key reminders:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Allow time for review:<\/strong> Please allow 3\u20134 weeks for a response. The ARC has up to 30 days from receipt of a <em>complete<\/em> application to respond.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Complete applications help everyone:<\/strong> The review process begins once all required documents are received. If something is missing, the application will be returned so you can add what\u2019s needed and resubmit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Please wait for approval before starting:<\/strong> Installation or construction before approval isn\u2019t permitted under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beckettsridge.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Becketts-Ridge-Covenants.pdf\">Association\u2019s Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Permits and local approvals:<\/strong> ARC approval is separate from any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughnc.gov\/community\/about-hillsborough\/getting-started\">City\/County permits or approvals<\/a>. If permits are required, they remain the homeowner\u2019s responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>More information may be requested:<\/strong> The ARC may request additional details to clarify an application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;Must Dos:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beckettsridge.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Becketts-Ridge-ARC-Guidelines-and-Appearance-Standards-Nov.-2022-2.pdf\">ARC guidelines<\/a> before planning any exterior modifications or improvements. If the guidelines are unclear or do not cover the modifications you are considering, don&#8217;t hesitate to contact Charleston Management for clarification and consideration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Submit one application per change.<\/strong> (Examples: roof replacement, fencing, landscaping, exterior painting, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Include clear project details:<\/strong> location on the property, dimensions, materials, colors\/finishes, and your estimated start and completion dates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Attach supporting documents<\/strong> (plans, photos, and a property survey) so the ARC can review your request without delays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Send all ARC correspondence through Charleston Management<\/strong> (using the submission instructions below).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Plan ahead:<\/strong> choose a start date that allows time for ARC review (please don\u2019t schedule work to begin until you\u2019ve received written approval).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Submit (Step-by-Step)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/charlestonmanagement.com\/\">Community &amp; HOA Management Services | Raleigh | Charleston Management<\/a> and log in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the left menu, go to <strong>Community Information<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Governing Documents<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>ARC Application<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download the fillable PDF and complete all sections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gather your attachments.<\/strong> Including supporting documents helps the ARC review your request without delays.
